CME: The 2012 symposium has received designation from the Medical Foundation of Alabama for a maximum of 10.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™*.

The symposium is designed for beginner and advanced users. Friday sessions include an update by Rich Sanders on legal issues relating to the use of Electronic Medical Records. Plus, hear updates on Medicaid, Health Information Exchange and ALREC. See EHR demonstrations by physician users and a presentation on Meaningful Use Implementation Strategies. To close out the day, all attendees and exhibitors are invited to a reception at 6:00 p.m.

Saturday will kick off with the return of Rosemarie Nelson who will present Optimizing Technology. Other Saturday sessions will include Physician Adoption of Inpatient EMR; Social Media; What to do if Things Go Wrong; Using Smart Phone and Tablet Devices; and Portal Integration.

*Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
